Relax and unwind in this magical, memorable, one-of-a-kind cabin. This utterly charming three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom wood home, sits on almost two acres of forest. Every detail is reminiscent of the forest and wilderness, from the tongue and groove wood ceiling to the cabin-inspired décor. Laurel tree branches twist and gnarl between the wood railings, a true depiction of natural beauty. If you like sledding, you’ve come to the right place. There are hills on the property that allow for all day fun!

The family room is a complete "CROWD PLEASER". The large windows provide a beautiful view of the trees and forest. There is a flat-screen TV with cable and streaming, along with board games to keep you busy and entertained. There is also a full-sized, vintage pool table, for your enjoyment. High Speed Wi-Fi is available. There is a wood burning stove, which provides great ambience and warmth during the winter months. The family room is complete with a daybed in the loft and a futon, as well as multiple dining room tables & chairs. There are many peaceful and cozy spots to curl up with a book or just hang out with family and friends.

In the living room, the alluring wood-burning fireplace provides warmth and a great environment for fun and good conversation. The adults can enjoy wine or a cocktail in this room while the kids enjoy the family room. The couch in this room wraps around the TV, where you can watch cable or stream your favorite subscriptions (please make sure to bring your account information).

Although this very special Chalet is rustic and woodsy, it is also updated with modern conveniences. The kitchen includes beautiful granite countertops and appliances, including a dishwasher, microwave, stove, refrigerator and a traditional coffee maker. There are three bar stools at the kitchen island and three additional dining room tables in the family room, seating a total of 10.

Along with the living areas, the master bedroom is also located on the main level. This appealing bedroom is equipped with a gorgeous bed and is adorned with lovely decor. It is the perfect comfy spot for a good night’s rest. The ensuite bathroom has dual vanities along with a shower/tub combo.

The guest bedroom on the main level has a queen-sized bed and chest of drawers.

The main level is equipped with a bathroom in the hallway adjacent to the kitchen that includes a shower/tub combo.

Upstairs you will find a captivating loft, with a queen-sized bed and two full-sized beds. There is a bathroom with a toilet and sink. There is also a very special nook that may act as a kids’ corner, equipped with a TV and a Super Nintendo.

The outdoor areas are just as amazing as the inside! Enjoy the peace and beauty of the forest while relaxing in the private back deck with a gas heater. There’s a table with seating for 6, a lounger and outdoor couch. The front covered porch has a propane grill and two tables that seat a total of 8. The outdoor areas are a great place to enjoy the serene tranquility of Kachina Village. Outdoor games include horseshoes and a tree swing.

From the front porch you can see the trailhead of the awesome Pump House Wash hiking trail. This is a great hike for all members of the family.

We supply freshly cleaned linens, bedding, and towels for all our guests. We also supply paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dish, dishwasher, and hand soap.

Although oftentimes there will be a variety of condiments, coffee, etc., we cannot guarantee what will be available.

4 wheel drive or chains are required in the winter, as the driveway can get a lot of snow. The driveway does not get plowed, so please be prepared to traverse the 500 foot driveway.

No Pets Allowed. If pets are brought to the property, guests will be asked to leave without receiving a refund. Owner's family is highly allergic to animals. 

Minimum Age Requirement is 25 years old.

There is a Ring Camera on the outside of the property. There is also a camera on the back porch, outside.
