Oak Creek Canyon

Tectonic forces shifting the land to either side of the fault and subsequent erosion by Oak Creek have created a spectacular canyon where the geologic history of this area is an open book.

Flagstaff Extreme

Lowell Observatory

Lowell Observatory, founded in 1894, is a non profit astronomical research and educational outreach institution located on Mars Hill one mile west of Flagstaff, Arizona. For visitors, the Observatory offers telescope viewing, exhibits and science center, daytime guided tours, safe viewing of the Sun, multimedia programs, shows in the McAllister Space Theatre, special events throughout the year, and an astronomy gift shop.

This is the largest National Forest in the US, and it has miles of horseback trails with scenic beauty, spectacular views, quiet solitude, and the Arizona Trail is accessible from our stables. 1 Hour Ride = $55; 2 Hour Ride = $100; 3 Hour Ride = $150; 4 Hour Ride = $180; 6 Hour Ride = $240; 8 Hour Ride = $300. Mother Road Brewing Company

Sit within a working craft brewery located on Historic Route 66 while sipping pints and enjoying conversation, the fire pit, or a board game. The Brewery and Tap Room offer pints, tasting flights, packaged beer to go, growlers, and brewery merchandise (t-shirts, glassware, tin signs, etc.). We partner with Pizzicletta so you may enjoy award winning Neapolitan style wood fired pizzas from 5:00pm to close daily. Tours occur at 3:00pm on Saturdays, or by appointment with advance reservation by calling or emailing the brewery. We are family friendly with dogs welcome on our patio.
